Farm Store Update!

The Online Farm Store is up and open for orders!
For now you can pick up locally on Saturdays in Libby from 12-1230pm and Troy from 1-130pm.
You can order and pay online or email in what you want and pay when you pickup.

There are so many thing that I've added and that will be available!
Eggs, Microgreens, farm-saved Seeds, New & Improved Dragon's Balm, Dried Bouquets, and more.

The sun is back in full and it gets put to power right away to heating the dome so the plant starts have a warm & bright home to get ready for the outside world All plants grow from sun power!

The seeds will finally be available for either pickup or shipping! I'm still busy packaging them all (spring is a generally busy time □) but they're all up and available. I'm also busy seeking out great local business partners to carry them in their shops.

Another big update is a new batch of Dragon's Balm in an improved package! To make application and transport easier I've sourced kraft tubes that work just like chapstick tubes. They are fully biodegradable and keep your fingers grease-free while applying the good stuff to any ouchie, burn, cut, scrape, or bug bite. I know I'm sticking one in every bag, car, shed, and pocket!

​They'll be available in two sizes. The taller, slimmer 1/3oz tubes are easy to slip into any pocket and the closest to the familiar chapstick size. The shorter, wider ½ oz tubes are great for larger applications like those skinned knees or cracked elbows.

The two main ingredients in any salve or balm is oil (in this I use olive oil infused with wildcrafted and farm-grown botanicals) and beeswax. They need to be warmed and melted to be combined and it can be a messy affair. 
I'm lucky to get to use one of my Grandpa's old glass double boilers that he used every day to make his oatmeal breakfast (which he lovingly called 'mush'!). It lets me warm the oil and wax slowly.
Then I get to practice my patience when filling the wobbly, tiny tubes. It's best done incrementally, letting each section cool before adding the next. This limits the amount of cracking and subsidence, even if it can't eliminate it completely.

This is the land of huts. Rainbow chicken huts. 1 big human hut. A few storage huts. and temporary plant huts. We are all people, plants, and animals living in huts!
