The tidying and painting inside continues as does the outside winter chore of cleaning the huts and runs (which is usually done in summer by moving them to fresh grass)! The winter farm conference season starts up with lots of webinars and videos. It will give me a lot to ponder as I work on my crop planning this month. And the sun is shining for awhile which is a good excuse to get outside and soak up some rays, even if it means just wandering the field and forests! I do have outside projects to work on but sometimes you don't wanna stand on cold concrete, holding cold metal tools, especially when your feet wanna move! This week there is the usual microgreens, eggs, and wreaths. The new addition to the website that I am working on is a virtual yard sale of sorts (it is much easier for me to do one in winter than in summer). As I've been tidying the cabin, I re-discover lots of goodies (mainly various mugs, home baking equipment, and some fancy glassware) that I don't need anymore and should find homes that can appreciate them. Look for them next week! The upstairs office/studio got a couple coats of paint on the ceiling, walls, and floor! It was rough wood with lots of pen marks and notes to peoples past and unfinished drywall with holes, scratches, and water stains. Now its is fresh, clean, and bright! A perfect spot to tackle all the sewing, crocheting, seed saving, wreath making, crop planning, website updating, weaving, writing, labeling, and, sooner rather than later, tax prepping that fills my winter hours. What's available this week?
Where to find it all?
I'll be at Libby this Friday from 12-1230pm! I'll be at Troy this Friday from 1-130pm!
