I'm a perennial that brings all the pollinators to the yard. I bloom in a beautiful mix of purple, pink, and mauve. Frost doesn't bother me much and if will spread slowly if you let me go to seed.
Harvest and dry my leaves for a lovely tea to sip on as you watch the butterflies feast on my nectar.
help me grow:
For first year blooms, start me indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost or you can direct seed after frost but you may need to wait for blooms. Surface sow my tiny seeds as I like light to germinate.
enjoy my bounty:
Harvest for bouquets when my blooms open. Trim them as they fade to see my blooms all season long. Harvest my leaves at any time for tea.
